NC-UVDTF60 New Machine Installation

Proper NC-UVDTF60 New Machine Installation is essential for achieving optimal Crystal Label print quality and long-term reliability. The NC-UVDTF60-PLUS is a 60 cm all-in-one UV DTF printer integrating peeling, printing, laminating, and rewinding. This guide covers the key steps from unpacking to test printing, ensuring your machine is set up correctly and ready for production. Follow the steps below carefully.

Unpacking and Site Preparation

Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the machine for shipping damage. Place the printer on a level, vibration‑free floor with at least 50 cm clearance on all sides for ventilation and maintenance. Maintain an ambient temperature of 20–28 °C and relative humidity below 65 %. Avoid direct sunlight and dusty areas.

Leveling and Electrical Connection

Use a spirit level to adjust the four leveling feet until the machine is perfectly horizontal. Improper leveling can cause uneven ink flow and film misalignment. Connect the main power cable to a dedicated grounded outlet matching the printer’s voltage (220 V/50 Hz or 110 V/60 Hz). Do not share the circuit with high‑power equipment. Power on and verify the control panel boots normally.

Film Loading and Ink Filling

Load the A‑film (release film) and B‑film (transfer film) onto their respective rollers following the film path diagram on the machine. Adjust tension knobs to keep the film flat without wrinkles. Fill the ink tanks with the supplied UV ink set (GL + KCMY + White + Varnish + Gold Varnish). Open the ink valves and run the automatic ink filling cycle from the control panel until all lines are primed.

Software and Printhead Setup

Install the provided RIP software on a connected Windows computer. Configure the communication port (USB or Ethernet) and load the correct printer driver. Perform a nozzle check from the control panel. If any nozzles are missing, run the automatic cleaning cycle until all channels fire completely. This step is critical for print quality.

Test Print and Final Adjustment

Load a sample design into the RIP software and send a test print. The machine will automatically peel, print, laminate, and rewind the Crystal Label. Inspect the output for color accuracy, adhesive bonding, and edge sharpness. Adjust the lamination pressure and print parameters as needed. Once the test label meets your standards, the NC-UVDTF60 New Machine Installation is complete and the printer is ready for production.

Post‑Installation Maintenance

Schedule daily nozzle checks, weekly wiper cleaning, and monthly filter replacements. Keep the film path clean and free of dust. Following these procedures maximizes uptime and ensures consistent Crystal Label quality.
