Proper NC-UV0609MAX-II Peristaltic pump replacement restores strong cleaning suction on this 600×900 mm industrial UV printer. The NC-UV0609MAX-II prints 0–180 mm height, uses Epson 13200-U1 white, 13200-U1HD color and 11600-U1 varnish, runs CMYK+LC+LM+LK+LIK+W+V at 720×600/900/1200 dpi, FlexiPRINT MiniServer 22, 470W, AC 220/110V, negative-pressure eco UV ink, 25–28°C / 35–65% RH. Its ink station integrates a wiper motor, cap top, peristaltic pump and waste cartridge. A weak pump leaves residual ink, causes dry nozzles and poor auto cleaning. Fitting an OEM Nocai pump returns reliable suction.
Preparation
Power off, unplug and verify grounding. Wear nitrile gloves. Through the panel, driver or FlexiPRINT, park the carriage at the maintenance position. Prepare an OEM Nocai peristaltic pump, matching silicone tubes, small drivers, tweezers, wipes, UV cleaning solution and bracket photos. Relieve negative pressure, then label every inlet and outlet tube. Do not kink tubes or touch the printheads during setup.
Remove the old pump
Disconnect the pump cables from the board and label polarity. Loosen tube clamps, remove the inlet from the cap/wash side and the outlet to the waste bottle, then unbolt the pump head or motor bracket. Inspect rollers, silicone tube hardness, cracks and ink buildup. Replace both the pump assembly and worn tubing when suction drops, pulsates or leaks during auto cleaning.
Install the new pump
Mount the OEM Nocai pump in the original orientation and tighten the bracket evenly. Fit specified silicone tubes without twists, secure clamps, and align rotation direction per the NC-UV0609MAX-II manual. Reconnect the power cable, route wires away from the X-axis belt, carriage path and UV lamp. Confirm the inlet serves the cap station and the outlet reaches the waste cartridge or bottle.
Prime and cleaning test
Power on, enter standby maintenance, run manual pumping until cleaning fluid and ink flow to the waste path, then run Auto Cleaning. The system executes scraping, ink washing and capping. Print a nozzle test on transparent media; all CMYK+W+V channels should fire evenly. If suction stays weak, recheck tubes, direction and clamps. Stable suction completes the NC-UV0609MAX-II Peristaltic pump replacement.
Post-replacement care
Inspect tubes weekly for flattening, replace silicone lines per manual, and empty the waste cartridge regularly. Wipe the cap top, wiper and encoder strip, keep 25–28°C / 35–65% RH, and use only Nocai eco UV ink with original pump parts. Non-Nocai consumables void after-sales support.
