Sự chuẩn bị

Removing the Old Strip
Open the top cover and move the carriage to the middle of the X-axis beam. Unscrew the fixing screws on the top cover, then remove the cover. Without touching the encoder sensor or the X-axis limit switch, unscrew the brackets around the grating strip. Gently slide the old strip out of the encoder sensor slot. If the strip only has contaminants, wipe it with a lint-free cloth moistened with alcohol in one direction—never back and forth.
Installing the New Strip
Thread the new grating strip out from the left hole and lock it. Pass it through the encoder slot behind the carriage, then through the right hole. Apply double-sided tape where the strip sits to prevent slipping. Pull the strip taut and tighten the screws. Cut off the excess length. Use the upper and lower screws to adjust the strip so it is centered in the encoder sensor slot—the strip must not touch the sensor during carriage movement.

Kết nối lại nguồn và bật máy in. Move the carriage left and right and observe the X-axis position readout on the control panel. The reading should be positive and increase smoothly without jumps. Run a nozzle check and print a test pattern to confirm registration. If the readout is abnormal, recheck the strip centering and repeat the alcohol cleaning. Post-Replacement Care
