準備

Install the new sensor

Align its optical window with the encoder strip, keep the gap per manual—Nocai same-series guidance commonly uses 1–2 mm—and tighten screws lightly to avoid tilt. Reroute the cable away from the X-axis belt, carriage path and UV lamp, then lock the connector. Confirm the reader sits centrally in the strip slot and never contacts the scale.

Encoder test and alignment

Reconnect power and enter the service menu; run “Encoder Test” or equivalent, then move the carriage across the full width.
