Check the cable first

Power off and unplug the printer before any work. Open the access panel near the X-axis beam end. Disconnect and reseat the front limit sensor plug to clear oxidation. Inspect the cable along its full length for looseness, breaks or aging. If the fault clears after reseating, no sensor change is needed. Proceed to replacement only when the error remains with an intact cable.

Remove the old switch
