준비

If the plate is a separate service part, unscrew the retaining screws and lift it straight off; never touch the nozzle surface. If the plate is integrated with the head, disconnect ink tubes/dampers first, then unplug the head flat cable by the connector shell, remove head screws, and lift the assembly. Inspect for ink crust, bent pins, or physical damage before fitting the replacement.

Installing the New Plate or Head

Clean the mounting face with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry. Align the new plate with locating pins; if fitting a complete head, seat it squarely in the carriage and tighten screws evenly—service manuals for separate plates often specify about 0.3–0.4 N·m, while integrated-head torque must follow the NC-UV0406-VI manual. Reconnect ink lines and the flat cable flat, not skewed; keep ink away from connectors

Priming and Nozzle Test
