Preparación

Reroute the cable away from the X-axis belt, carriage path and UV lamp, then lock the connector. Confirm the reader sits centrally in the strip slot and never contacts the scale.

Encoder test and alignment

Reconnect power and enter the service menu; run “Encoder Test” or equivalent, then move the carriage across the full width.
