Preparación

Power off, unplug and verify grounding. Use guantes antiestáticos. Move the carriage to the middle of the beam through the panel, driver or FlexiPRINT. Remove the old strip

Loosen the top or side cover screws per the manual, then release the strip brackets. Slide the old encoder strip out of the sensor slot slowly to avoid bending it. Install the new strip

Keep the strip parallel to the beam and away from printheads, cables and the UV lamp area.

Homing and accuracy test

Power on and move the carriage left or right; the control panel should show positive X-axis values that increase smoothly without jumps.
