The Y-axis motor—mounted at the rear of the machine as thePlatform motor—drives the flatbed back and forth under the control of the main board. Removing the Old Motor

Disconnect the motor signal and power cable from the main board. Loosen the coupling or belt tensioner connecting the motor to the platform drive. Remove the mounting bolts and carefully extract the old motor, noting its orientation and spacer placement.

Installing the New Motor

Position the new motor with the same orientation and spacers. Tighten the mounting bolts evenly. Reconnect the coupling or adjust belt tension to 5–8 mm deflection under moderate finger pressure. Route and plug the motor cable back into the main board, ensuring the connector locks firmly. Secure all cable ties away from moving parts.

Testing and Calibration
